How Does It Work?

MySurvey is an Australian site where members participate in online research in exchange for rewards and prizes. Once registered, members will be able to take part in surveys that are relevant to them. You can access these surveys directly through your MySurvey dashboard or through a link emailed directly to you. Survey length varies, but you will be told at the start of each survey how long it will take to complete.

These surveys are designed to get your opinion on the products and services provided by all sort of companies in Australia. Your feedback is highly valuable. In fact, research gained through consumer opinion has inspired important innovations such as air-bags, anti-lock brakes and child proof safety caps. MySurvey provides a way for companies to gain this information and then rewards you with cash and prizes.

As well as showing you what surveys are available to you, your MySurvey dashboard also shows you how many points you’ve earned and how many entries to the quarterly prize draw you have qualified for. Members can also participate in mini polls through their dashboard to gain extra entries into the prize draw. These are short, one question polls that help companies find out your opinion on a single issue.

As well as the online site, MySurvey also has a mobile app for your smartphone, which you can use to start earning rewards even faster. These surveys are specifically tailored to mobile devices and are different to those available online. This means that you’ll have even more opportunities to complete surveys and earn rewards.

Points and Rewards

The minimum payout for MySurvey rewards is only 550 points, so members benefit from being able to redeem their points very quickly. And members are guaranteed to receive points for each survey that they attempt, even if they are screened out after only a few questions.

Points can be redeemed for gift cards from stores including:

  • JB H-Fi
  • Coles
  • Woolworths
  • The Body Shop
  • and many more

There is also the option to redeem your points for PayPal credit. Or members can choose to donate their points to one of the partnering Australian charities.

Points expire two years from the date that they were earned. So if you earned points on 1 December 2013, then those points will expire on 1 December 2015. You are encouraged to redeem your points well before the expiry date.

How Quickly Can I Start Redeeming Rewards?

When redeeming points, members should be aware that:

  • It may take up to 30 days for points to appear in your member dashboard
  • You need to have a minimum of 550 points in order to start redeeming rewards
  • Electronic vouchers and PayPal credit will be processed within one week of redemption
  • Physical gift cards and other prizes will be posted out to your nominated address and may take up to four weeks to arrive

MySurvey Loyalty Program

MySurvey have introduced a Loyalty Program for members to reward them for being an active member of the community. The more surveys you complete, the more rewards and bonuses you will receive.

There are four levels in the loyalty program – Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Your loyalty level is determined by the number of points that you have received, and therefore how many surveys you have completed.

Members in the Silver, Gold and Platinum level receive bonus points when they complete a survey. For example, Silver members get an extra 5% points when they complete a survey. So if you complete a survey worth 500 points, you would automatically receive an additional 25 bonus points credited your account.

Members at all loyalty levels also qualify for the quarterly prize draws. Each survey and mini poll that you attempt gives you an additional entry into the prize draw. Your loyalty level determines which prize draws you are entered into. Prizes include Myer gift cards, iPads, real gold bullion and your electricity and gas bills paid for a year.

MySurvey Privacy Policy

MySurvey is owned by Lightspeed Research, the world’s largest consumer panel and one of the top providers of market research globally. Lightspeed is committed to protecting the privacy and personal information of its members and will only use your information for the purposes of market research and to provide you with rewards.

Your information will never be passed onto third parties or used to contact you for marketing purposes. In addition, responses to surveys will be aggregated before being provided to the researcher. Therefore, individual responses to survey questions will not be able to be linked with a particular member.
